1What is explicit consent?
Under Art. 3 KVKK, explicit consent is consent about a specific matter, based on information and given of your own free will. This text is separate from the KVKK privacy notice: the notice informs you, this text covers only the processing that relies on your consent.
- You do not have to consent. Consent is not a condition of the Terms of Use or of a subscription.
- If you say no, only the feature that depends on that consent stays off; the rest of the app keeps working.
- Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
2How we ask
- Each consent has its own screen and its own checkbox. Boxes are never pre-ticked.
- The consent text is never bundled with accepting the Terms of Use or with the privacy notice.
- For Apple Health and location, iOS also shows its own permission prompt; nothing is read without it.
3Consent 1 — My own health-related data
I have read the KVKK privacy notice. I give my explicit consent to Omnibus, Ltd. processing my headphone level (measured or estimated), weekly sound dose, headphone and environmental audio levels from Apple Health, posture state and hearing game results, to show me measurements, alerts and reports and to share them with the parent accounts I link. I know I can withdraw this consent in Settings at any time.
☐ I agree
4Consent 2 — Parental consent for my child
Asked of the parent who adds the child, before the child's phone is paired.
I declare that I am the parent or guardian of [child's name]. I have read the KVKK privacy notice. I give my explicit consent to the processing of my child's headphone level, weekly sound dose, Apple Health headphone and environmental audio levels, posture state, earbud events and hearing game results, to show measurements, alerts, reports, goals and rewards to my child and the linked parent accounts.
I have explained to my child, in words suited to their age, that monitoring is on. I know the app shows on my child's device that monitoring is on and who can see their data.
Full name: [__________] ☐ I agree
For children under 13, no pairing code can be created without this consent. We record who gave it, for which child, for which version of the text and when.
5Consent 3 — Location at the moment of an event
I give my explicit consent to recording the location at the moment my earbud (or my child's earbud) drops or is left behind and showing it to linked parent accounts, and, if I turn on “Monitor in background”, to using low-accuracy location updates for this purpose. I know the location is deleted after 7 days.
☐ I agree
6Transfers abroad
We base regular transfers abroad not on consent but on the safeguards of Art. 9 KVKK, such as an adequacy decision or the Board's standard contract. So by default we do not ask for your consent to transfers abroad. Only if an incidental, non-recurring transfer becomes necessary would we ask on a separate consent screen, after telling you about the possible risks.
7Withdrawing consent
- Turn off the relevant switch in the app's Settings.
- Remove the permission in iOS Settings → Health, or Privacy & Security → Location Services.
- A parent withdraws consent given for a child by turning monitoring off or deleting the member.
- Delete the account, or write to .
Withdrawal stops the processing concerned from that moment and turns the feature off. Data collected earlier is deleted at the end of its retention period or on your request. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
8Records
To be able to prove consent, we record who consented, on whose behalf, to which version of the text, when and from which device. This record is used only as evidence. For your rights and how to apply, see the data subject application form.
Legal
Explicit consent text (KVKK)
Explains which data we process on the basis of your explicit consent under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK), and how you give and withdraw it. Each consent is asked separately and can be withdrawn at any time. The Turkish version is binding.
