Accessibility statement

We want every family to be able to use Earbunny, whatever their abilities and whatever device settings they rely on. Here is what we aim for, what already works and where we still have work to do.

  1. 1Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this website and the parent web dashboard, and to follow Apple's accessibility guidelines in the app. This supports the requirements of the European Accessibility Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and similar laws. This statement is based on our own review; we have not yet had an independent audit.

  2. 2Website and web dashboard

    • Semantic structure with headings and landmarks, and a skip-to-content link.
    • Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
    • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative illustrations are hidden from screen readers.
    • Colour contrast checked in light and dark mode; information is never shown by colour alone.
    • Text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout adapts to small screens.
    • Animations respect the “reduce motion” setting of your device.
  3. 3The app

    • VoiceOver labels for buttons, charts and status cards.
    • Dynamic Type: text grows with the size you choose in iOS settings.
    • Reduce Motion: the bunny and other animations calm down or stop.
    • Listening and posture states are shown with words and icons, not only colour.
    • Alerts use sound, haptics and text, so they do not depend on one sense.
  4. 4Known limitations

    • Some charts show fine detail only visually. A text summary sits next to each chart, and the weekly report gives the same figures in words.
    • Some PDF reports may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send the content in another format.
    • The hearing game relies on hearing tones and is not suitable for everyone. Skipping it does not affect any other feature.

We are working on these and will update this statement as we fix them.

  5. 5Feedback and help

If something is hard to use, or you need information in another format, tell us at or through the contact form. Please say which page or screen and what device or assistive technology you use.

We reply within 2 business days and aim to solve the problem, or offer another way to get the information, within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the authority that oversees accessibility in your country.
