  • Can the app lower my child's volume?

    No app can: iOS does not let apps change other apps' volume. We monitor, report and nudge, and walk you through iOS Headphone Safety for a hard limit.

  • Does it listen through the microphone?

    Never. The microphone is not used, and we never know what is being played. Levels come from the volume setting, the headphone model and, with permission, Apple Health.

  • Will my child know they are being monitored?

    Yes, always. There is no hidden mode. The app shows that monitoring is on and lists everyone who can see the data.

  • Is there a web version?

    Yes. Parents can use the web dashboard in any browser for live status, history, reports, rules and goals. Children use the iPhone app only.

  • Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

    Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted in the EU. Only the person and the parents linked to them can see it.

  • Is this a medical device?

    No. It builds awareness and healthy habits; it does not diagnose or treat. If you are worried about hearing or posture, please see a professional.

  • How do I delete everything?

    In the app: Settings → Delete account. A new account with the same email can be opened 24 hours later. Deletion is irreversible.
